Filmed in 2020, Eating in with Lidia rose to the challenge presented by the fact that, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most of us were sheltered in place and using what we had available in our kitchens. In two half-hour specials, Lidia shared stories, tips, recipes and strategies on how to approach food and meal preparation during those stressful times.

Each of the two specials featured a combination of original interviews with Lidia, in which she shared childhood memories and how they relate to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, together with beautiful footage from the places, moments, and recipes from her younger years.
