This is my new favorite granola mixture. It seems like every few months, I play around with a new granola recipe and stumble upon a combination that I really really love. Right now Im all about seeds.
This granola recipe uses sesame seeds (white and black) and millet seeds. You can add more seeds if you like, such as pumpkin and/or sunflower. I also am really into goji berries and golden raisins. The chewiness that those two offer is my absolute favorite, not to mention the health benefits. Another combination that I love in my granola is coconut oil paired with honey. The coconut oil adds such a nice flavor profile, while the honey adds some nice texture. This recipe, like all granola recipes, is somewhat flexible. Sub in different nuts!
Next week Ill be posting a more indulgent recipe, but for now, granola!
