Tis the season for a hot toddy! I absolutely love this classic warming cocktail and its the perfect nightcap for a day spent out in the snow.
The secret to a great hot toddy is using traditional honey liqueur, available at most liquor stores. It gives the drink a bit of sweetness without adding simple syrup. Recently, we were taking a winter trip to Yosemite National Forest, and this drink was very welcome after a long day hiking in the cold.
Try hot toddies as part of your New Years Eve bash, or any night when youre curled up by the fire with a book in your hand.
