I eat hummus ALL THE TIME. I’ve been making mine from scratch for a few years now and I realize I’ve never shared a recipe!
This one is made from soaking beans and boiling them. If you want super smooth hummus, you can remove the skins from the beans. It takes a good amount of time to do this (probably around 20 minutes) but it makes the smoothest of smooth hummuses. I don’t actually do this part haha. Hence the lack of super smooth hummus but it’s smooth enough in my mind.
I make a big batch and then eat it throughout the week. And if people come over, they’ll often times leave with a container of hummus because 1 pound of garbanzo beans yields a lot of hummus. It’s magical what you can get out of it.
