Baking holiday cookies, candy, and other treats is so much fun during this time of year. The only thing better than baking the treats themselves is getting to eat them!
As a food blogger, I love visiting food blogs to see other people's creativity and talents showcased for the world to see. Instead of posting a cookie recipe, I thought it would be more fun to show you my picks for a virtual holiday treats tray. Each recipe can be found by clicking on the title below the picture.
What I have for you are twelve different cookies, candy, or treats for you to make at home. Some of the recipes are extremely easy and a few other slightly more difficult to prepare. I'm convinced everyone will find a recipe within their comfort and skill level.
By: White On Rice Couple - These easy and festive Chocolate Peppermint Marshmallow Pops are simple enough for kids to help make, too!
By: Not Martha - I know this isn't necessarily a cookie you would serve from a tray, but can you imagine making a batch of Tiny Gingerbread Houses for your mug and then serve them at your holiday party?
By: Tasty Kitchen - When I think about the Holidays, I think of Almond Roca. This version looks so much better than the pieces you get in the pink tin can.
By: Not Without Salt -These gorgeous Gingerbread Cookies taste as good as they look... I had the privilege of eating a few last Christmas.
By: The Parsley Thief - These Pecan Linzer Cookies with Cherry Filling are too adorable not to share with you. I love the idea of using decorative cutouts against the backdrop of the jam.

By: Tartelette - Who wouldn't feel special eating one of these Candy Cane Macarons? The eggnog filling is a nice added touch guaranteed to make recipients smile.

By: Savory Sweet Life - These Chocolate Dipped Caramel Pecan Bars are one of my favorite holiday treats I like to bring to parties. They are always a hit! *Included in the recipe is a gluten-free variation, too!
By: Buns In My Oven - I love the twist of adding coffee to this classic holiday cookie. These Chocolate Espresso Snowcaps would make a lovely addition to any cookie tray.
By: Simple Bites - How would you like to make four different cookies from one Simple Shortbread recipe? This recipe is so versatile and will make your holiday baking less stressful.
