When I became a mother I knew I wanted our family to experience annual holiday traditions my children could look back at one day fondly. Christmas Eve is typically when my husband and I wrap presents late into the night while listening to music making sure everything is ready for when Santa visits our house.
Because I know myself well enough to know I probably won't be sleeping in the next morning, I make it a point to prepare a Christmas Breakfast Casserole on Christmas Eve so that by morning, all I have to do is bake it. Sounds easy enough, right? Right! In my opinion, it is very hard to fail at baking a casserole.
Below are five casseroles I've rounded up from around the blogosphere for you to make Christmas morning. If you've been thinking about starting a memorable and edible holiday tradition, consider making a breakfast casserole. Not only will your family appreciate a nice warm breakfast, you can relish in enjoying an effortless breakfast while watching your kids open their presents underneath the Christmas tree.
