Ingredients
- 1 box of pasta (any pasta)
- Approximately 2 cups of spinach
- Approximately half a cup of basil
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
- ¼ cup of onions
- Half a cup of milk
- Half of a block of queso fresco
- 1 teaspoon of salt (or to taste)
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper (or to taste)
Instructions

First, we add olive oil, garlic and onion to the pan.

Once the onion has sautéed for a few minutes, we add the basil and spinach just to cook down.

After that, we add everything to a blender.

Then, we add the queso fresco, salt, black pepper, and milk. Some people add pecans before blending it, but we don’t use pecans.

Finally, make your pasta of choice and serve it. In some places of Peru, they will add meat on the side.
