Spiced Nectarine Topped Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 nectarine, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons raisins
  • 4 servings cooked plain oatmeal
  • chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. In a microwavable bowl, mix the orange juice, sugar, cinnamon, and ginger together. Add the nectarine and raisins. Cook in the microwave for 2-1/2 minutes. Spoon the nectarines and the sauce over four bowls of oatmeal which has already been prepared. Top each bowl of oatmeal off with a sprinkling of chopped nuts
